GIVING BLOOD, SWEAT & CHEERS

National American Red Cross Founder's Day is observed annually on 5/21. It commemorates the anniversary of the organization's establishment in Washington, D.C., by renowned humanitarian Clara Barton on this day in 1881. The day serves to honor Barton's legacy and the organization's century-long commitment to disaster relief, emergency assistance, and lifesaving blood collection. We thought it would be a great day to tell you how and where you can donate blood in Louisville to show you care.
