EXPLORING VETERANS MEMORIAL PARK

Veterans Memorial Park, located in Crestwood, Kentucky, has two missions: to “Honor Veterans and their sacrifice, especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice; and to educate Park visitors, especially youth, in military history.”
The Park is a unique presentation of dramatic collages laser-engraved into large granite blocks and placed along a remarkable timeline to provide context for the. Additional large and small monuments memorialize and commemorate important aspects of military service and history, with information on:
Wars, campaigns, and military actions where Americans fought and lost their lives
Individuals and groups that were significant in military history
Insight into the character and values of US service men and women

🎖️ Veterans Day at the Zoo
Today, 11/11 @ Louisville Zoo (10AM-4PM)
The zoo is offering free admission to active, retired, and discharged military members and their immediate family members in the household.
