When the summer heat is this relentless, it would be a great idea to escape into the city's cool, air-conditioned museums. Take a deep dive into Kentucky’s past at the Frazier History Museum (which also serves as the official starting point of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail), the Speed Art Museum, Kentucky's oldest and largest, or learn about the history of baseball bats at the Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, just to name a few. These museums not only provide a respite from the heat but also highlight Louisville's rich cultural heritage.
